This disorder is a form ofthrombophlebitis Cause This is caused by the bacterium Fusobacterium necrophorum Symptoms a sore throat, fever, general body weakness, abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea , vomiting ,extreme lethargy, spiked fevers, rigors, swollen cervical lymph nodes and a swollen, tender or painful neck. Diagnosis Chest X-ray ,chest CT, Bacterial cultures taken from the blood, joint aspirates Treatment This disorder treated with antibiotics |
